THIS WEEK IN LIBERALS: SOTOMAYOR
An editorial by Jared Tallman (Republican)
This week Obama announced his nominee for Supreme Court, Judge Sonia Sotomayor.
Aside from being a liberal activist, but leave it to Obama to find a racially motivated judge. In 2001, she stated that a Hispanic female judge would be better suited than a white male judge. Now, I would love to see how people would react if a white male judge would say that by being a white male, he would be better suited to making a decision than a Hispanic female.
If race played any part in your decision making, you shouldn’t be making decisions in the Nation’s highest court to begin with.
While taking a break from radicalizing the Supreme Court, Obama took the time to say that his administrations first four months was incredibly productive and said that his has been superior to any other’s since FDR. I will agree with him that he has been incredibly productive, he has managed to quadruple the debt that he “inherited” in less than two months in office. He has spent more on the stimulus bill and budget than any other president for him.
I knew he was going to be radical, but he really impressed me on how quickly he was able to move this country to socialism. Touché.

Has “socialist” officially replaced “terrorist” or “commie” as the scare buzzword for right-wingers?
Last time I checked, he’s trying to help fix the economy so this country can have more MONEY. Doesn’t sound too socialist to me.
Last time that I checked, he’s trying to “fix” the economy by quadrupling our debt, putting a down payment on nationalized health care, and expanding bigger government more than ever in US history.
Sounds like Socialism to me.
And I don’t call him a “socialist” because its the latest buzzword for right-wingers, I call him a socialist because he is one.
However, thank you for your response.
